Determination of magnetic structures through successive transitions in a new room-temperature altermagnetic metal
Abstract: An altermagnetic metal represents a new type of magnetism and is considered a promising platform for spintronic applications that leverage magnetic moments under an electric field. In this project, we focus on a new altermagnetic metal that operates at room temperature. To understand its unusual magnetism and its role in altermagnetic and novel topological transport properties, we will employ single-crystal neutron diffraction to determine successive magnetic structures as the temperature is lowered.
