Confirming the static relaxation function for C6Li
Abstract: Questions have been raised on whether the dynamic Kubo-Toyabe function widely used for data analysis of ionic diffusion data in battery materials is an effective description of the real muon relaxation. We have calculated the static muon relaxation function in C6Li from first principles and would like to collect a high statistics dataset at ~10K in zero field to compare with it, which will constrain the approaches used to calculate the relaxation function. Published data were collected with a significant Cu sample fraction so are not suitable for this problem.
