The first INS study of adsorbed CO on a catalyst
Abstract: INS studies of adsorbed species on catalysts have been carried out since the 1970s and there are hundreds of publications describing the work. However, they all have one feature in common: none of them have ever directly observed a non-hydrogenous molecule. The aim of this proposal is to observe the low energy modes of CO adsorbed on Pt.
