Effects of methylations on electron transport properties in double-strand DNA
Abstract: Investigations on electronic states of 12-mer C-G combined double strand with and without methylations are proposed by LF-muSR and ALC resonance measurements. The dimensionality of the electron conductivity through those double-strand DNA samples is clarified from LF-muSR and hyperfine fields at the muon site are clarified from ALC resonance measurements. We compare differences of those muSR results and try to reveal effects of methylations to the electron transport properties of DNA.
