Li diffuison in solid electrolyte compounds studied with muons
Abstract: An argyrodite-type compounds with a mixed anion system, i.e., Li0.53PS4.3Cl1.7-xBrx exhibits a high ionic conductivity at x=0.7, for reasons currently unknown. Although the crystal structure does not change with x, a local lattice distortion caused by mixing between Cl- and Br- anions should play a significant role to enhance ionic conductivity. Therefore, we want to measure a ion diffusion behavior with a local probe, i.e., muSR for clarifying the relationship between local lattice distortion and local ionic diffusivity.
