Understanding persistent spin dynamics within a 2D layered TCNQ salt
Abstract: This proposal seeks to understand the persistent spin dynamics that we have observed through a quick preliminary measurement of the 2D layered salt, Ni(TCNQ)2(H2O)2. There is a lot of interest in these molecular systems and they show great potential for testing theories as well as potential applications within quantum technologies. Some TCNQ salts are simply passed by with the assumption that they are "paramagnetic", however the TCNQ mediated magnetism is likely to be a lot more interesting then one may think.
