Understanding wetting process in distillation membranes
Abstract: This express access proposal aims to confirm the strength and the complexity of structural pattern of the material used in distillation membranes. The membranes are made from PVDF polymer, i.e. polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride, a highly non-reactive semi-crystalline thermoplastic fluoropolymer. Before submitting a full proposal, we want to determine if a thicker membrane material or a stack of membranes should be used.
