The Effect of Temperature and Pressure on The Crystallisation Behaviors of para-Xylene
Abstract: Para-xylene is believed to be the most important feedstock in plastic and polymer industries. Understanding the crystallisation behaviours and polymorphism of para-xylene is therefore crucial to material manufacturing and industrial processing. This proposal seeks to explore the crystallisation properties of para-xylene as functions of temperature and pressure. Additionally, it will also allow us to map detailed temperature-pressure phase diagrams with structural information.
