Interplay of hydration, magnetic order, and proton-conduction pathway in Co[Cr(CN)6]2/3.xH2O
Abstract: We wish to use neutron diffraction to characterise experimentally the nature of magnetic order in Co[Cr(CN)6]2/3·xH2O as a function of water content. At the same time, and by combining our neutron measurements with complementary X-ray powder diffraction measurements, we will seek to determine the structural ramifications of magnetic order in terms of both magnetoelastic coupling and also the distribution and occupation of H2O molecular sites.
