A spin liquid candidate composed of double-layer Ising triangular antiferromagnetic nets: DyNb7O19
Abstract: DyNb7O19 contains well-separated bilayers of ideal triangular lattice nets and magnetic susceptibility data show no long-range ordering down to 2 K, making this an intriguing spin-liquid candidate material in which the coupling of the two nets in the bilayers adds a new feature. The goal of the experiment is to study the spin fluctuations in this compound and to use longitudinal field measurements to extract the spin correlations and understand the spin dynamics in detail.
