Search for unconventional superconductivity in a new noncentrosymmetric compound
Abstract: This research proposal focuses on investigating unconventional superconductivity in a newly synthesized noncentrosymmetric ternary superconducting compound, NbTaOs2, with a confirmed transition temperature of 2.5 K. The similarity between NbTaOs2 and the Re6X series compounds suggests the potential for Time-Reversal Symmetry Breaking (TRSB) in its superconducting state. This research aims to enhance our understanding of unconventional superconductivity, particularly the influence of crystal structure on TRSB, offering valuable insights into the broader field of superconductivity.
