Intermediate-range Environments of Boron and Germanium in Binary Borogermanate Glasses
Abstract: In a previous study of the GeO2-rich binary borogermanate glasses, BO1.5-GeO2, we found that, by using first order difference methods, we can extract information on changes to the intermediate range structure. We now wish to examine the intermediate range boron and germanium environments for borogermanate glasses in the borate-rich region. This will improve our understanding of how different structural polyhedra and clusters are accommodated in a continuous network.
