Non-solvent Induced Phase Separation (NIPS) of cellulose: tuning the porosity of cellulose precursors for carbon molecular sieve membranes
Abstract: Carbon molecular sieve membranes are a technology which enables gas separation, especially small polar molecules. The exact properties depend upon the pore structure. In this work we will use SANS to probe the pore structure of such membranes during the formation process. In this work we will mimic the actual fabrication process to better optimise this stage of membrane fabrication.
