Photoelectrochemically-induced structural changes in photosynthetic protein complexes
Abstract: This proposal presents a new cell design that will allow us to measure structural changes in photosynthetic complexes operando as a function of exposure to light and applied potential. This builds on our previous success measuring neutron reflectometry coupled with electrochemistry, and will allow us to significantly increase our impact in the field of bioelectronics, in which understanding and improving photocurrent is key to the future development of novel renewable energy technologies.
