DM express: Polymer solution scattering SANS and WANS
Abstract: Favourable conformation of polymers in solution is often the key to their providing a specific functionis often the key to their providing a specific function. Understanding the relationships between polymer chemical structure and solution conformation is therefore essential to the informed design of new materials, but these conformations and interactions occur at short length scales not probed by SANS experiments. This proposal underpins development of methodology to analysis polymer solution scattering data across length scales, utilising small- and wide-angle scattering.
