A SANS experiment to study nanostructures in contrast matched sunscreen lotions
Abstract: In this SANS proposal, we hope to deploy contrast matching to highlight the different nanostructures present in sunscreen lotions. The variations in these structures as a result of introducing different UV filters and preservatives is of significant importance due to the change it imparts on a sunscreen lotion?s feel and performance, especially the SPF.
