Complex magnetic ordering in the topological kagome metals RMn6Sn6 (continued)

Abstract: Recent theoretical predictions and experimental realisations of exotic fermions and topologically protected phases in condensed matter have led to tremendous research interests in topological quantum materials. Recently, the correlated topological metals RMn6Sn6 have emerged as an exciting platform to explore the interplay between geometric frustration, non-trivial band topology and magnetism. We have carried out the first single-crystal neutron diffraction study of ErMn6Sn6 at WISH in early April 2022. However, due to limited beamtime in our previous experiment, we could not complete all originally proposed studies. Therefore, we would like to propose to carry out a continued study of complex magnetic ordering in ErMn6Sn6, including the magnetic field dependence measurement with H//c and the zero-field crystallographic study. We would request 3 days of measurement time at WISH.
