Spin Dynamics of Nano-Gold Particle Au25[PET]
Abstract: The investigation of the spin dynamics of the nano-gold particle Au25[PET} is proposed. The Au25[PET] has 25 Au atoms and is epxected to ware the magnetism when the shrged state of [PET] ligands to be neutral. Our muSR studies down to 50 mK did not show any strong evidece of the formation of a static magnetically ordered state. On the other hand, from NMR measurement, we observed a peak in the nuclear-relaxation rate around 30 K. We propose to carry out precice measurement of the muon-spin relaxation rate arond 30 K in ZF and LF conditions. We aim to reveal changes in the spin dynmics of magnetic moment which is expected on the Au25 cluster in Au25[PET].
