VALIDATION OF EFFICIENT DUPLICATION WITH COMPARISON STRATEGIES IN GRAPHICS PROCESSING UNITS AND EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
Abstract: The goal of this proposal is to continue our evaluation of the resilience of modern parallel devices that include computing cores of different precision. Our idea is to use the idle lower precision cores to implement a fast and effective duplication. We will study the neutron sensitivity of modern System on Chips embedding ARM core, Graphics Processing Units, and multi-core processors. During our experiments we will run various algorithm including object-detection frameworks for automotive applications implementing the hardening solutions we have developed based on previous experiments results.
