Measurement of the temperature dependence of the muonium emission from silica aerogel using MuSR method
Abstract: We propose continued study of the muonium emission from silica aerogel using Muonium Spin Rotation (MuSR) following success of the proof-of-principle measurement. This time, we plan to measure temperature dependence of the Mu emission. This will be a good test of the Mu emission model and also allows us to select the best temperature to be used as a low energy muon source for studies such as the muon g-2/EDM.
