Spin orientations in epitaxial Mn2Au films for antiferromagnetic spintronics
Abstract: Mn2Au has garnered a lot of interest as a promising material for the new field of antiferromagnetic spintronics. The symmetry of the crystal and magnetic order, already established for bulk powder samples, holds prospects for electric control of AF spins using recently predicted Neel-order fields. However, in order to fully realise this potential it is essential to develop thin film versions of this material. Here we propose to investigate the spin structure in epitaxial Mn2Au films using neutron diffraction.
