Full reciprocal space imaging of the acoustic phonons in MgV2O4:
Abstract: The proposal requests time to obtain a full mapping of the low-energy acoustic phonons. We have measured an acoustic phonon anomaly associated with the structural transition and request the use of MERLIN to obtain a full mapping of the acoustic phonons to determine the nature of the anomaly. The proposals for 8 days of time to complete this proposal.
