Magnetic Excitations in SrRuO3
Abstract: SrRuO3 is particularly interesting as it is the only simple Ruthenate that exhibits ferromagnetic order at ambient conditions, which still is a rare phenomenon in the broader class of transition metal oxides. Ferromagnetism in SrRuO3 is associated with strongly anomalous behavior in various properties of this material like the DC electronic transport yielding a linear resistivity showing bad metal behavior. Here we propose to study the high enery magnetic excitations using the time of flight neutron spectrometer Merlin.
