Urgent test for development of a new neutron detector system
Abstract: We propose to perform tests on a new kind of neutron detectors developed for European Spallation Source in collaboration with the ISIS detector group. In particular we want to understand the performances of the detector in the realistic condition of pulsed neutron source environment. The INES and EMMA beam line are the best suited for this kind of tests. Such measurement have a character of relative urgency to be fitted in the ESS timeline.
