Phase Separation in NaTaO3. Can it be controlled by pressure?
Abstract: The present proposal seeks to establish the pressure dependence of the Pbnm-Cmcm transition in NaTaO3 and some doped variants thereof. It aims to understand the understand the non-perovskite-like peak splitting observed in HRPD data recorded for NaTaO3 at room temperature and the unusual stability of the Cmcm phase in this material.
