Neutron diffraction study of multiphase XNiCuySn (X = Ti, Zr, Hf) Half-Heusler materials
Abstract: Metal-rich and multiphase XNiCuySn (X = Ti, Zr, Hf) Half-Heusler compounds are promising candidates for thermoelectric waste heat recovery. The aim of the experiment is to determine the experimental compositions of these materials, focusing both on the presence of half-Heusler phases with different ratios of X-metals, and the amount of excess Cu.
