Adsorption of Monoclonal Antibodies at the Solid/liquid Interface
Abstract: We propose to use neutron reflection to study the interfacial adsorption of 2 novel bispecific therapeutic antibodies at the silicon oxide/water interface. To enpower each of these antibodies with 2 functional targets, the antibodies have been bioengineered with additional domains and as a result, their structural stability may alter. Current ellipsometric studies have revealed different dynamic adsorption and greater adsorbed amounts at equilibration. The aim of the neutron study is to reveal structural details against concentration, pH and ionic strength and how these factors affect their extent of desorption.
