Tuning the superconducting ground state in FeSe intercalates
Abstract: The superconducting properties of FeSe can be modified using transition-metal doping, although only relatively low concentrations can be incorporated. We have identified vanadium as a suitable dopant which can be incorporated up to a few per cent, and have also succeeded in making ammonia-intercalated versions of these doped FeSe compounds, dramatically increasing their Tc. This proposal is aimed at making a systematic study of the superfluid stiffness using muSR and thereby determining the effect that these modifications of the superconducting layers has on the underlying physics.
