Skyrmion phase dynamics in the beta-Mn-type system Co8Zn8Mn4
Abstract: Skyrmions are topological objects which have been shown to exist in the spin textures of a range of magnetic materials. As we have recently demonstrated in our transverse field muSR work on these systems, muSR is a promising method for exploring the physics of skyrmion lattices. Here we propose to to complete our investigations of slow dynamics in the beta-Mn-type magnet Co8Zn8Mn4 via the use of longitudinal field muSR.
