Laser-induced electron transfer in Trp-Tyr
Abstract: We have recently performed a measurement of the dipeptide Tryptophanil-Tyrosine (Trp-Tyr) dissolved in deoxygenated water, illuminated by the 4th harmonic of the Nd-YAG laser installed on HiFi. We have successfully observed an electron transfer process in the molecule as a temporal change in the two ALC peaks. However, due to the technical difficulties, the experiment left some important parts undone. We therfore would like to continue the measurements for field scan and complete the obtained data.
