Investigating proximity effect in tunneling geometry across STO insulator in LSMO/STO/YBCO heterostructures grown on MgO substrates
Abstract: Recently a number of studies have been reported in FM/SC multilayers on proximity effect. Taking a step forward we propose to study coupling of SC and FM layers through an intervening insulator layer in a tunneling geometry. we have have grown the hetrostructures of LSMO/STO/YBCO using PLD. these samples have been characterized for structural and magnetic properties using XRD, XRR and SQUID techniques. we would like to make PNR measurements as a function of temperature on this system to explore the effect of proximity across insulator in LSMO/STO/YBCO sample.
