Molecular and framework dynamics in CH3NH3PbCl3
Abstract: We propose to use MARI to measure the molecular and framework dynamics in CH3NH3PbCl3 which has become of interest in the context of efficient photovoltaics. CH3NH3PbCl3 is different from other organic-inorganic materials as it lacks a structural phase transition to a tetragonal unit cell. The point of this experiment is compare the lattice dynamics to CH3NH3PbBr3 previously measured. We will also search for a soft mode at low temperature.
