muSR Study on the Dynamics of Electronic Dipoles in Alkali Metal Halide Perovskites

Abstract: The flip-flop and inonic motions of electronic dipoles in organic-molecule doped alkari halide perovskite systems are proposed to be investgated by muSR. We plan to apply the E-field muSR technique to three provskite systems of APbBr3 with A=MA, FA and GA as organic cations. Thos cations are expected to have charge polarizations leand to the appearace of electronic dipoles. Thermal fluctuations of electronic dipoles could transfer the charge, so thtat those systems are expected to be applied as high-performance solar-power-cells. This proposed experiment is to investigate the dynmics of effectieve ionic motions and freezing of electronic dipoles.
