Commissioning: High-intensity Bragg Edge Imaging on IMAT
Abstract: This test study on IMAT will require the aperture restriction (currently 40mm diameter) lifted to achieve high statistical accuracy for Bragg edge imaging, and to shorten the beamtime from 3 days to 1 day for a study on roller bearings. The experiment requires running the MCP detector under high intensity for the first time on IMAT, i.e. there is an important commissioning aspect to these tests.
