New 3d heavy fermion behavior accompanied by a Lifshits magnetic liquid phase in a non-centrosymmetric compound Mn3CoSi
Abstract: Recently, new phase with Lifshits invariant of incommensurability is reported as a solitonic spin-liquid state above the magnetically ordered phase on Fe1-yTe. It cannot be expressed by Gintzburg-Landau phase transition theory due to the Lifshits invariant. The term can be expected in a material with incommensurability or chiral magnet with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction. Recently, we have found heavy fermion behavior of a partial magnetic liquid phase in Mn3CoSi, which may be attributed to the Lifshits invariant due to the non-centrosymmetry. We’d like to reveal the heavy fermion with partial magnetic liquid state by muSR.
