Studying the hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde over Pt/MCM41 under flow
Abstract: The proposal aims to use neutron scattering coupled with NMR spectroscopy to study the selective hydrogenation of a fragrance (cinnamaldehyde) to high value products. The study will examine the influence of liquid structure on the selectivity of the reaction to understand the reaction mechanism.
