The Effects of Zeolite Expansion on Molecular Diffusion
Abstract: Zeolites are porous materials that can absorb other molecules, which makes them useful in a number of fields. When they absorb molecules, they change size, either shrinking or swelling. This process is not well understood, so I want to investigate how gas molecules move in the pores when the pores are filled to different extents and how their motion is affected by the expansion and contraction of the zeolite.
