Magnetic ordering in the layered oxide chalcogenides A2FeO3CuCh (A = Ca, Sr; Ch = S, Se)
Abstract: This proposal is to measure the evolution of the magnetic structures of a series of iron oxide chalcogenides and compare the structures as a function of cation sizes and with related compounds with other transition metals. This is a highly modified resubmission of proposal RB1820445 following preliminary measurements on Sr2FeO3CuSe which prove the existence of long range magnetic order which is not evident from magnetometry measurements.
