RADSAGA

Abstract: RADSAGA (Radiation reliability challenges for electronics to be used in Space, Avionics, Ground and Accelerators) is a program involving 15 PhD students all around Europe. The goal is to assess radiation effects on electronics, mainly on new technology devices, electronic boards and full systems. The ChipIR beamiline at ISIS represents a brand new opportunity for fulfilling the goals of RADSAGA, thanks to the possible applications related to the spallation neutron source typical of atmospheric and ground environments, but that can also be applied to accelerators.
