Understanding the structure of linear alkylbenzene sulfonates in water.
Abstract: The objective of this research is to understand the detailed structure of water-surfactant solutions as a function of concentration and chemical structure. This is important as these materials form the main components of cleaning detergents and personal care products and this fundamental understanding will provide the basis of new formulations.
